The program is designed for the students who will engage in the construction of? basic surveying and mapping, digital mapping, the development and applications of geographic information systems and related scientific research, management, or teaching.
Core Courses: surveying, cartography, foundation of surveying adjustment, measurement of geodetic control, GPS theory and application, principles and methods of digital mapping, remote sensing theory and application, the principle of geographical information systems, engineering surveying, digital photogrammetric, computer graphics.
Upon graduation, students can apply for the position in aerospace, defense, urban planning, transportation, agriculture, land resources, environment, marine, earthquake, electricity, hydraulic resources, coal and other departments related to design of surveying and mapping, planning construction, management, measurement, or manufacturing operations.
